A Dartmouth man faces seven charges in relation to an assault in Mulgrave.
RCMP say officers responded to a home on Middle St. in the town after the victim suffered moderate injuries early Wednesday.
Brandon Joseph Lawrence, 27 has been charged with assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, resisting arrest and a pair of breaches.
Lawrence, who has been in custody since his arrest, has a bail hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Friday.
