Police searching for Inverness Co. man

***UPDATE***RCMP confirm Stewart has been found safe

Inverness RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find 87-year-old John Andrew Stewart.

Stewart was last seen Saturday at 5:00 p.m. in Inverness.

He’s white, 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a grey shirt, black pants and may be wearing eyeglasses.

Police say he walks with a slight limp.

Stewart may be driving a red 2012 Kia Forte, licence plate DNP 747.
