The Town of Port Hawkesbury has cancelled its long running concert series because of COVID-19.
In a release Tuesday, the town announced they would be following the lead of many other summer festivals by cancelling the 26th annual Granville Green concert series for 2020.
It says they waited as long as they could to make a call, but ultimately made the decision to protect the health and safety of town residents.
It says Granville Green will be back in 2021.
