Port Hawkesbury man back in court facing drug charges

Update: Charges against Jonathan Nicholson were withdrawn June 11.

A suspect charged in relation to a five-month drug investigation is back in court Thursday.

25-year-old Morgan Wallace Stark of Troy, 28-year-old Adam Chester Stark of Port Hawkesbury, and 31-year-old Jonathan Edward Nicholson of Port Hawkesbury were arrested on multiple drug-related offences in the case.

Morgan Stark was scheduled to set a trial date in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in April, his hearing was adjourned until September 13th.

Adam Stark and Jonathan Nicholson had preliminary hearings in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court in March.

Adam Stark is expected to resume his preliminary inquiry Thursday.

Jonathan Nicholson had his charges withdrawn on June 11.

RCMP say officers seized a significant amount of cocaine, as well as marijuana and drug trafficking paraphernalia when they searched a Port Hawkesbury home in May of last year.
