Price of gas climbs for second straight week

Pump prices are up for the second time in as many weeks.

The price of gas increased 3.3 cents at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.12.1 on the low end, and $1.15.1 on the high end.

The back-to-back increases come after five straight weeks with no increases.

Diesel rose 1.6 cents a litre; the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.09.2 and a maximum of $1.12.2.
