Price of gas down for first time in six weeks

Pump prices have dropped.

The price of gas decreased 1.1 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight; the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.22.6 on the low end, and $1.25.6 on the high end.

It’s the first drop after five straight weeks of increases.

Diesel is also lower, albeit slightly; it fell 0.3 cents a litre at midnight, which means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.15.7 and a maximum of $1.18.7.
