Pump prices are down in a big way again.
The price of gas dropped as much as 5.7 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.08.8 on the low end, and $1.11.7 on the high end.
It’s the second decrease of the week after members of the Utility and Review Board invoked the seldom-used interrupter clause to lower gas six cents a litre due to significant shifts in market prices Wednesday.
Diesel is also lower, falling as much as 3.5 cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.10.6 and a maximum of $1.13.6.
