Price of gas increases ahead of long weekend

Pump prices are up almost three cents.

The price of gas climbed 2.8 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.33.3 on the low end, and $1.36.3 on the high end.

It’s the ninth straight week without a drop in the price of gas.

Diesel is also up- 2.5 cents a litre; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.26.6 and a maximum of $1.29.6.
