Pump prices down

The price of gas has dropped for the first time in three weeks.

Pump prices fell 2.5 cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of 70 cents and a maximum of 73 cents.

Gas had gone up in back-to-back weeks after it plummeted as much 46 cents a litre in the previous three weeks.

Diesel decreased as much as 4.1 cents overnight; the new range is between 77 cents on the low end and 80 cents on the high end.
