Pump prices drop ahead of long weekend

The price of gas has decreased for the second week in a row.

Pump prices fell less than a cent- 0.9 cents a litre- during the regular price adjustment at midnight; the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.12.6 on the low end, and $1.15.6 on the high end.

The back-to-back drops come following three consecutive increases in gas prices.

Diesel went in the other direction, climbing 1.1 cents a litre; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.18.5 and a maximum of $1.21.5.
