Pump prices up ahead of long weekend

The price of gas has increased before the Thanksgiving long weekend.

Pump prices climbed as much as 3.7 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.28.2 on the low end, and $1.31.2 on the high end.

It’s the second straight increase after back-to-back drops in gas prices.

Diesel took a big jump, 5.5 cents a litre; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.33.5 and a maximum of $1.36.5.
