Pump prices up for third straight week

The price of gas has increased for the third week in a row.

Pump prices rose as much as 3.1 cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of 81 cents and a maximum of 84 cents.

The three consecutive increases come after two consecutive decreases.

Diesel is up 1.5 cents a litre; the new range is between 72 cents on the low end and 75 cents on the high end.
