River Denys’ Colten Ellis stopped 26 of the 28 shots he faced- plus all five in the shootout- for Charlottetown, and was named the game’s third star; Sean Stewart and Dylan Chisholm, both from Antigonish, were in the Charlottetown and Halifax line-ups, respectively.
The Mooseheads (14-16-9), who have lost three of their last four, are fourth in the six-team Maritimes Division in terms of points percentage, behind Saint John for third, and ahead of fifth-place Moncton.
Charlottetown leads the season series 13-2.
