River Denys’ Colten Ellis dressed as the back-up goalie for the Islanders; Antigonish’s Sean Stewart, who served the second game of a two-game suspension he received for a boarding major against Halifax Friday, wasn’t in the Charlottetown line-up.
The Mooseheads (15-18-9), who have lost three of their last four, are fourth in the six-team Maritimes Division in terms of points percentage, behind Saint John for third, and ahead of fifth-place Moncton.
Charlottetown leads the season series 15-3.
