The Mooseheads (29-10-3), who have lost back-to-back games, are fourth in the 18-team league with 61 points, two points behind Baie-Comeau for third, and six points ahead of Cape Breton and Moncton, the two teams tied for fifth; they’re ranked seventh in the country.
Beaver Meadow’s Ryan MacLellan was in the Rouyn-Noranda line-up.
It was the first of two regular season games between the teams.
