The Mooseheads (34-11-3), who have won five of their last six, are fourth in the 18-team league with 71 points, three points behind Drummondville for third, and four points ahead of fifth-place Rimouski; they’re ranked eighth in the country.
The two-game season series ends tied 1-1.
It was the first of three games in as many nights for Halifax, who host Sherbrooke Friday, then visit Moncton Saturday.
