RCMP lay impaired driving charges in Inverness Co.

Police say road safety initiatives led to several impaired driving and traffic charges in Inverness Co.

They say officers conducted eight proactive initiatives and followed up on tips from members of the public June 9-16.

RCMP say four people were charged with impaired driving, while another driver received a seven-day license suspension.

They say they issued 23 traffic tickets and 67 warnings.
