RCMP stop 2 vehicles racing on Hwy 104 in Antigonish

Two women from Heatherton have been issued tickets after racing on Highway 104 in Antigonish.

RCMP say it happened Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. between a Toyota Corolla and Kia Forte.

They reached speeds of 181 km/h.

The traffic stops were between Beaver Mountain and Antigonish.

The women, 46 and 20 years old had their licenses seized for seven days, vehicles impounded and fined $2422.20.
