The RCMP have charged a Richmond Co. man in the murder of a St. Croix, Hants Co. man.
Police say officers responded to homes in Wolfville Ridge and St. Croix in May 2020.
They say they found a burned vehicle and dead man at the second home.
The RCMP’s Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit arrested four people in relation to the murder, including Brandon Doucette, 28, of L’Ardoise, Richmond Co. on May 18.
Doucette is charged with the Murder of Robert Campbell, Criminal Negligence Causing Death, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Discharge of a Firearm, and Pointing a Firearm counts.
Police say he was returned to custody after appearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Wednesday.
