A Richmond Co. man faces 19 charges related to historical sexual assaults.
RCMP say they arrested 49-year-old Gordon Wallen Richard, of St. Peter’s, Wednesday, after a five month investigation.
They say investigators received a report, in December, he sexually assaulted a woman number of times between 2012 and 2015, when she was a teenager.
Richard is charged with seven counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Young Person, five counts of Sexual Assault, five counts of Sexual Interference, and two counts Invitation to Sexual Touching.
He has been released from custody on conditions and is set to appear Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on July 26.
