Local ER closed again this weekend

The Strait Richmond Hospital’s emergency department will shut down for the weekend.

The ER at the Evanston hospital will close due to lack of physician coverage at 8 a.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Monday.

You can visit another emergency department, or call 911, if you have a medical emergency.

You can call 811 to speak to a registered nurse for non-urgent health issues.
