River Denys man arrested after twice refusing to pull over

RCMP have charged a River Denys man following multiple flights from police.

Police say, on the evening of the May 24, they observed a car driving erratically, the vehicle didn’t stop when an officer attempted to pull it over.

They say, a short time later, they located the vehicle and it did not stop for police a second time.

RCMP say they received an additional complaint the same night of the car speeding through Wagmatcook.

Police say they identified the driver as 30-year-old Andrew Grant MacPhail, he was arrested Tuesday.

He is set to appear in Wagmatcook Provincial Court on September 9th to face charges of dangerous operation, flight from police, and driving while suspended.
