There’s a delayed opening for schools in the Quad Counties.
All schools within the Strait Regional Centre for Education will open two hours later than usual due to Friday morning’s road conditions; the only exception is Fanning Education Centre-Canso Academy in Hazel Hill, where classes have been cancelled for the day due to a power outage.
Ecole Beau-Port in Arichat, Ecole acadienne de Pomquet, and Waycobah First Nation School also have two-hour delayed openings.
All SRCE buses will be travelling paved roads only Friday.
