Search for missing man in Grand Anse continues 1 year later

The search for a man who went missing in Grand Anse continues, one year later.

RCMP say they are still looking for Cody Duane MacDonald who was last seen at a home on Campbell Road on February 29th, 2024.

He was reported missing March 4, 2024.

The 29-year-old is described as 5’10. 145 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.

Initially it was believed he was wearing an orange survival suit, but information and evidence gathered suggests he was last seen wearing a grey hat and green fisherman boots.

Air and ground crews searched for multiple days at the time of his disappearance and over the past 12 months, police say, investigators have followed up on numerous tips.

As police continue to receive and follow up on new information, they ask at this time, specifically for details about the hours and days leading up to his disappearance.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cody Duane MacDonald is asked to contact Richmond County District RCMP at 902-535-2002.
