Seven people are safe after a boat caught fire off the shore near Dundee Thursday.
Around 12 p.m. the boaters abandoned the burning vessel.
They managed to get into an inflatable boat, equipped with an outboard motor, and make it to shore.
Police say Inverness RCMP were called to assist by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, but their help wasn’t required because all the boaters had been rescued.
EHS checked over the people on shore and found none were injured.
