Short notice closure at local ER

There is a short notice temporary closure at a local emergency room.

Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck’s ER closes at 6 p.m. Friday until Saturday at 8 a.m.

The temporary closure is due to lack of nursing coverage.

  • Kelly MacMillan lives in Port Hawkesbury with her husband and son. She has been part of the team at 101.5 The Hawk for more than 25 years, sharing stories from around the region. You can join her weekdays from 10am until 2pm.
