SiRT investigates serious collision in Amherst

The province’s police watch dog is looking into a serious collision in Amherst.

The Serious Incident Response Team says an officer put on their emergency lights in the early morning hours of October 17, in an attempt to stop a suspicious vehicle.

The suspect sped away, when moments later, crashed into a house causing the male driver and female passenger to have serious injuries.

SiRT will continue investigating.
