Weather could get a bit messy in certain parts of the Quad Counties.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for Pictou, Inverness and Antigonish counties.
The national forecaster says between 10 and 20 cm of snow could fall in the squalls.
The systems could develop anytime between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
Travel may be hazardous with the sudden change in weather, with visibility suddenly reduced.
