The StFX Athletes of the week have been announced.
StFX-Men cross country runner Alex Neuffer was named the Male Athlete after he helped lead the X-Men to a first place showing at the first meet of the AUS season at the UPEI.
He was also the top individual finisher in the race, clocking in at 20:12:00 in the 6k race that featured 57 competitors.
On the women side, rugby flanker Amelia Hatfield picked up honours as she led the X-Women on both offense and defense in a 69-5 victory over UPEI on Saturday.
Hatfield scored two tries by going forward the entire game.
She led the team in tackling while on defense.
