A local coaching legend has one last game on the sidelines.
Steve Konchalski, who has spent 46 years as the head coach of the StFX men’s basketball program, is retiring at the end of March.
The X-Men will host the Acadia Axemen an exhibition game in Antigonish Saturday night, with tip off at 7:30 p.m.
It’s StFX’s one and only game of the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19; it will be the 1,495th game of Coach K’s career.
A limited number of invited spectators are allowed in due to public health restrictions; the game will be live-streamed here.
