StFX to host Federal Election 2025: Candidates Forum

You have a chance to hear from and ask your local federal candidates questions at St. Francis Xavier University before the April 28th election.

The Mulroney Institute and StFX Students’ Union will host a federal election forum featuring candidates running in the Cape-Breton-Canso-Antigonish riding.

Those participating include Conservative Allan MacMaster, Liberal Jaimie Battiste and NDP Joanna Clark.

The free event will take place at Mulroney Hall in the Barrick Auditorium on April 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. Campus members and people from the surrounding communities are welcome to attend.

According to the university’s website, questions will be fielded and selected prior to the forum. Please submit your questions to the Mulroney Institute at mulinst@stfx.ca by noon on Friday, April 11th.
