Suspect arrested in Judique fight expected back in court

A man charged following a fight in Inverness Co. is scheduled to return to court Thursday.

RCMP say they were called to the store in Judique one Saturday morning in April.

They say one man punched another in the face; one person was injured.

Daniel Jerome Gillis, 61, of Judique faces an assault causing bodily harm count; his case opened with an arraignment hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court in June.

Gillis is expected back in court for an election-and-plea hearing.
