Suspect in Whycocomagh cocaine bust expected back in court

A suspect in an Inverness Co. drug bust is scheduled to return to court Monday.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 105 in Whycocomagh in April.

They say they searched the vehicle and found cocaine.

Michael Warren Ryan, 27, of Port Hawkesbury has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Ryan is expected for an election-and-plea hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court after his case opened in July.
