Suspects in Port Hawkesbury drug investigation have case adjourned

Two men facing drug charges following a five-month investigation are scheduled to return to court in November.

Police say members of the Inverness-Richmond RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit searched a home in Port Hawkesbury in May 2018.

They say officers seized a significant amount of cocaine, as well as marijuana and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Morgan Wallace Stark, 26, of Troy and Adam Chester Stark, 29, of Port Hawkesbury are charged with multiple drug-related charges in the case.

They elected a Nova Scotia Supreme Court judge-and-jury trial during an election-and-plea hearing in Oct. 2018; they had status updates in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Port Hawkesbury Friday.

They’re expected back for a pre-trial conference Nov. 6.
