The Commonwealth Games Are Back!

The Commonwealth Games are one of the world’s largest international multi-sport events, bringing together athletes from countries and territories across the Commonwealth. Held every four years, the Games feature everything from swimming and athletics to cycling, gymnastics, and para-sports.

Canada has been one of the top-performing nations at the Commonwealth Games for years. We’ve competed in every game since 1930!

At the 2022 Games in Birmingham, Canada finished third overall with 92 medals, including 26 golds. Canadian athletes have consistently excelled in sports such as swimming, athletics, cycling, and gymnastics.
