Thomason emerges victorious on The Launch

A singer from the Quad Counties has been chosen to record a new single after an appearance on a nationally-televised contest.

T. Thomason appeared on CTV’s The Launch Wednesday night.

The Antigonish native went through the audition process with four other emerging artists; a panel that included Sarah McLachlan, who was a celebrity mentor, and Scott Borchetta, a world-renowned music executive, picked Thomason to record the new original single “Hope.”

The second single from the music series has already been released to radio stations across the country.

After, Thomason said it’s like a dream happening in real time.
