Three new cases and a school-based case

The Department of Heath and Wellness is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.

Officials say one is travel related in Eastern Zone, the other two are in Central Zone, one travel related and the other a close contact of a previously reported case.

There’s also another school-based case in Central Zone which will be included in Friday’s numbers.

Provincial data shows the Eastern Zone case is in the Inverness, Victoria & Richmond Community Health Network.

With two recoveries, there are 26 active infections in the province and no one is in hospital.
