Time to jazz up in Antigonish

Check out live music performances at the Antigonish Jazz Festival starting Thursday until Saturday.

See and hear an exciting line-up of internationally acclaimed professionals and emerging artists.

The opening show spotlights outstanding local talent with feature performances.

Included will be the Dr. John Hugh Gillis Stage Band and The Nth Degree, who are a group of recent StFX Music graduates.

The opening performances will honour the memory of a founding member of the Jazz Festival Committee, Inez Forbes who was passed away earlier this year.

One of Canada’s most celebrated jazz vocalists, Matt Dusk, is headlining the final show.

He is a highly decorated artist who has two gold and four platinum albums.

Shows are for all ages, except for the late-night jams.
