The Town of Antigonish moved to repeal their municipal vaccination policy at last night’s regular council meeting.
It was the first in person meeting without masks since the pandemic began.
Mayor Laurie Boucher said that although this changes the municipal legislation, all Antigonish town staff were already fully vaccinated.
Many municipalities have been following public health in easing restrictions, including the removal of mask mandates as of yesterday.
