A pair of local athletes will compete in the AUS next season.
Tracadie’s Daniel Pettipas will join the Dalhousie Tigers’ men’s volleyball team for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
Pettipas is a member of the Antigonish Stoirm and Ecole acadienne de Pomquet Panthers volleyball clubs.
Monastery’s Rochelle Williams, also a member of the Antigonish Stoirm and Ecole acadienne de Pomquet Panthers volleyball clubs, will play for the Dalhousie Rams’ (Truro Agricultural Campus) women’s volleyball team in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association starting in 2021-22.
Antigonish’s Kara MacLean has committed to the Saint Mary’s Huskies’ women’s hockey team.
MacLean spent the past three seasons at the Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep school in Minnesota.
