We can never thank firefighters enough for what they do! From volunteers to professionals, when duty calls, they gear up and help in any way they can. But they don’t just save people, they help pets too.
The Halifax Professional Firefighters Facebook page recently posted a video showing members at a Larry Uteck Boulevard house fire literally bringing a pet cat back to life with oxygen. The department used special oxygen equipment designed specifically for pets, which some fire departments carry for situations just like this.
It’s a heartwarming reminder that firefighters go above and beyond to protect every member of our families even the furry ones.
