Residents in Guysborough continue to deal with a water service interruption as the Guysborough Aqua Society works to resolve a mechanical issue with its infrastructure.

For residents needing access to water or shower facilities, the Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex is available to fill water jugs and use the showers. The CLC will remain open until 9 p.m.

The water interruption is also affecting the outside tap at the Guysborough Library, meaning that option is not currently available for residents looking to fill containers.

Further updates are expected as work continues to address the mechanical issue.

Residents are being thanked for their patience and cooperation while the Guysborough Aqua Society works to restore service.
