Residents in parts of Port Hawkesbury are being advised to prepare for a temporary water service disruption while crews make infrastructure improvements.
On Friday, the town says customers on Pine Ridge Drive, Spruce Street, Aspen Court, and Chiavari Close will be affected by the interruption, which is expected to last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Town officials are encouraging residents in those areas to store enough water in advance for drinking and cooking while service is unavailable.
Once water service is restored, some customers may notice reduced water pressure or slight discolouration. The town recommends running cold water until it clears before using it.
