October marks the end of one 4-H year, and the exciting beginning of another! With our annual Provincial Show (Pro Show) wrapping up on October 4, members across Nova Scotia are looking forward to registering for the 2026-2027 4-H year!
Pro Show is a fast-paced, competitive, fun, and rewarding event that brings members together from across the province to celebrate their accomplishments. Pro Show serves as a great reminder of what the 4-H program is all about: friendships and learning to do by doing.
We are thrilled to announce that the 2027 Pro Show will be held in Windsor, NS, and we are looking forward to another year of learning, leadership and achievement.
With the excitement and momentum of Pro Show still fresh, many members are eager to sign up for another year of 4-H opportunities.
Interested in joining 4-H?
4-H Nova Scotia welcomes youth aged 7-21, as of January 1, 2027.
New members can join by connecting with a local 4-H Club General Leader or a 4-H NS Regional Program Coordinator (RPC). RPC’s can help connect families with the 4-H Club nearest to them. Once connected, the General Leaders will let you know all about their club. Each 4-H Club varies slightly around the province; this is because 4-H Clubs are run by volunteers! 4-H Club project availability, meeting expectations, and fundraising involvement are all dependent on the volunteer capacity and the size of the 4-H Club!
Registration for the 2026-2027 4-H Year is open from October 1 – December 15. For more information about 4-H Clubs or Registering, visit: Registration – 4-H Nova Scotia
