WestJet heard the public outrage about their new, reconfigured economy seats and say they will be changing them back.
West Jet added an extra row to 21 planes in their fleet by re-configuring their economy cabins. This has resulted in leg room shrinking to 28 inches on those planes.
The airline announced on Friday that following a review of operational data and feedback, the airline will return to its prior standard seat pitch for economy cabins on these recently reconfigured aircraft by removing one row of seats.
