A 48-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Inverness County.
It happened late Wednesday afternoon on Highway 105 in Waycobah.
The man from Whycocomagh was on the road when he was struck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 84-year-old driver from North Vancouver was uninjured.
