A suspect charged in relation to a drug bust in Port Hawkesbury is scheduled to return to court Tuesday.
RCMP say they searched a home in the town, and seized oxycodone, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia in July.
Darlene Bowen, 54, has been charged with possession of oxycodone and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Bowen, who elected to be tried by judge and jury in Nova Scotia Supreme Court during an election-and-plea hearing in March, is expected for a preliminary inquiry in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court to determine if there’s enough evidence to send the case to trial.
A man, 54, arrested in the bust was not charged.
