It’s a remarkable stroke of luck for a Quad Counties woman.
Brenda Pottie of Port Hawkesbury has won the Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50, for the second time.
She took home more than $314,000 in Thursday night’s draw and she also won over $324,000 on November 25 last year.
Organizers say repeat winners have happened in the past, including another woman who won two weeks in a row in July 2025.
Pottie purchased her tickets in support of the Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department, so they received $2,000 for her two winning draws.
