Electrical upgrades at the Canso Seamen’s Memorial are done.
Canso Lions Club reps say a local electrician and contractor donated labour and equipment to replace the electrical connections and install a new meter.
They say Nova Scotia Power officials have done the hook up to finish the project.
Provincial officials contributed $1,000 to help buy materials.
