The StFX women’s hockey team is up two spots in the latest U Sports top 10.
They move from ninth to seventh in the national rankings after a pair of 4-3 wins against Dalhousie Feb. 5 and Mount Allison Sunday.
The X-Women (22-5-1) finished the 2019-20 regular season with wins in 12 straight and 16 of their last 17; they ended tied with Saint Mary’s for top spot in the eight-team conference with 45 points, receiving a first-round AUS playoff bye.
Saint Mary’s is ranked second in the country; UPEI is fourth.
